desobediencia , poetic recital by sonia barba.
both a book of poems and a dramatized recital disobedience is equivalent to leaving behind hundreds of kilometers of a road movie loaded with images about where we came from and where we are going. After her first edited work, Dear Pretty Baby, Sonia Barba speaks to us in this disobedience of delicious and dirty domesticity. About the lost and the unmissable. the net and the knot. The desire. the author converses with you, with the others, with the poets, and the dialogue flows with the precision of pouring wine. Through the usual resources of music and movement to which we are accustomed, this recital wants to reach the maxim that the poet Macky Chuca predicted when she stated: “this book will slip under your beds and eat your feet, like a miraculous monster”. So be it.

valid identities. talk about the isaac flores exhibition.

"valid identities" is a sample of the photographic work of isaac flores on the queer scene in barcelona. it is configured by images that go from 2018 to 2020, focused on the art of the dragon, cross-dressing and sexual dissidence.

the project took shape spontaneously, not intentionally: isaac took the analog camera with him on his nights out in the suburbs and the gayexample, where he began to capture the scenes and people that make up his project. The next step, once he became aware of the importance of these images, consisted of carrying out photographic sessions outdoors, with natural light, applying the methodology of classical photography and fashion photography, and combining different formats (digital, analog and with polaroid camera).

«Valid identities» seeks to be a complaint and a warning against the intolerance and hatred that people from the lgtbiq+ collective receive for their way of being, loving and expressing themselves.

the work won the young photographers of catalonia award organized by the center of the image inspai.

Photographic activities for the whole family

With El Gra and the young people of Ull per Ull

Pinhole. The photographic association of Rubí El Gra will introduce us to the magic of pinhole cameras.

Chemigrams. Photography without a camera. A workshop by the young people of Ull per Ull

This activity is aimed at the youngest children and aims to introduce them to the dark and closed universe of the analogue photographic laboratory. Chemigraphy is a technique that uses the photo-sensitive materials of traditional photography but does not require a dark space and can be done in broad daylight.

Chemigrams are images obtained on light-sensitive emulsions and produced by the action of the chemical agents used during the analogue photographic process (developer, stop bath and fixer).

This is a mixed technique that produces images by combining the procedures and materials of painting and photography without the mediation of a camera.

The participating children will find themselves in the middle of an open-air photographic laboratory and will be amazed to discover the action of light on the silver nitrates of the sensitive paper, creating their own creations.

#Workshop - 10 attendees.

"Ser lobas" by Elisa Miralles and Lurdes Bassolí, questions the female beauty canon and proposes an awakening of the female body through the image that leads us to a (certain) liberation. In this context, we propose a gender-based workshop for photographers and non-photographers. In a safe space we want to generate a transformation of the look towards our own body and that of others, subverting an imaginary that has historically objectified and sexualized our bodies.

1. Conversation: To create an intimate and trusting atmosphere, before showing images we do some exercises to get in touch with the body and relax, and then we sit in a circle and read texts by authors who inspire us. These excerpts, in which we quote from Virgina Woolf to Virginie Despentes, give rise to debate and conversation, to emotional and bodily openness. Next, and to give context to the workshop, we take a brief tour of the history of the beauty canon of the female body in the West, to detect stereotypes shaped by the male gaze.

2. Acció: The photographic fact is the core of this workshop. Already feeling safe in the group, the participants are encouraged to take the power to imagine the female body, transcend the narcissistic selfie to discover another way of looking at us. We have the freedom to photograph the others
(including us, Elisa and Lurdes), to take a self-portrait and even review the archive. In this way, we open up the possibility of recognition and reconciliation with one's own image through the camera, of giving new meaning to the (self)perception of the body when looking at ourselves from a place that belongs to us. Whenever possible, a photographer admired by us, who works on photography and the body, will be included.

3. Edition + Exhibition (ephemeral): We share and view as a group the photographs of all the
participants, and we make a selection by consensus on the decisions. During this process the conversation continues, whose thematic axis now transcends the body and drifts towards the image and self-representation. But also, surprisingly for many, the power of publishing to project and strengthen our identity is immediately glimpsed. Without ceasing to guide the participants, but trying to maintain a horizontal creation process, embracing collective self-knowledge in the process of creation and based on it, copies are printed to be placed on the wall and jointly enjoy an ephemeral exhibition that all we will be co-authors
